Rising Beyond

Welcome everyone!  I wanted to start a blog to share stories and insights into life and spirituality and personal musings. I meditate with an amazing practice (I think) and also teach meditation workshops. And, I teach English online to kids in China.  Both of these allow me to be mobile and so I’m basically very fluid and transient at the moment, creating my life one step at a time. “Everything Under the Sun” basically means whatever it is that I feel compelled to write about – seeing as my name, Surya, means the Goddess of the Sun, Power of Pure Consciousness. 😊   I will be sharing about spiritual topics, travel stories, personal reflections and anything else that comes about.  I appreciate you stopping by and hope you find something that inspires you.
