Love is the natural state of who we are; it is so powerful that it instantly heals stress, fear, negativity and anything not in alignment with its expanded vibration. It is essential for living a fulfilling and meaningful life and can transform the world as we know it. Because it is so integral to our lives, the mind can become preoccupied with ensuring that love is always there for us, worrying that we may lose it, or always trying to find it. This forms a habit of looking to the outside for love; we forget that our basic nature is love and that we have had it inside of ourselves the whole time.
Our fears and judgements make it seem that love is gone, but this is an illusion only. Love can never not-exist. We hold on to past impressions and memories of not feeling loved, appreciated or respected that act as filters with which we view the world. In order to learn to love unconditionally, it is important to begin to heal these fundamental programs that color our perception of reality. These beliefs have a life-time of momentum, however they need not continue into our future.
An act of pure self-love is when we recognize that we are entertaining a limiting thought that does not serve us. In each moment we can choose to release negative perceptions by using meditative tools such as the Art of Ascension as taught by the Ishayas. This redirects the mind toward greater love, appreciation, gratitude and compassion. As we transform our own self-worth and self-love, the outside world will transform to reflect this inner foundation. All of the ascension attitudes lead the mind back to a state of purity and love. The love attitude, itself, directly heals the love between us and the Divine, the most important love connection there is. The attitudes are a gift of love that keep on giving. By returning our minds inward to the Source, we become a true force for Love in the Universe.
